Strap broke on day one

I am a big fan of Saguaro shoes. I own more than 20 pairs. I was however, disappointed for the very first time with these. The strap broke off on day one. Not having a way to fix them and needing to wear them with a particular outfit, I tore the strap off the other shoe and now wear them with holes in the side. I love them, but wish they did not have the holes (where the straps should have been attached).
